What is the Acoustic Cardiograph?
In 1937 the Endocardiograph was developed by Dr. Royal Lee, founder of Standard Process Nutritional Products. The Endocardiograph records the sounds of the heart as the blood moves through the various chambers, valves, and vessels. The “graph signature” refelcts the opening and closing of the valves, contraction and strength of the heart muscle, and the efficiency of the movement of blood.
Dr. Lee used the machine to develop many of his products. These extremely accurate ” signature graphs” of the Endocardiograph provided him with information showing:
Whether your heart function is optimal or less optimal
If your body’s showing signs of nutritional deficiencies that are causing stress on your heart
If your body’s chemistry balanced
What specific nutritional support your body may require
If you are already on nutritional support, if it is working and/or needs to be modified
When taking an initial series of tracings that will be considered “baseline tracings”, the ideal condition is to stop all unnecessary medications and vitamins the day before testing. The ACG is remarkably responsive to food, nutrients, etc, so please refrain from eating or drinking anything but water for at least 2 hours. In a general setting without this initial preparation, very useful information can still be obtained from the graphs. This is because of the general tendencies are usually apparent. This fact will be kept in mind when interpreting the graphs. Please inform me of all that was consumed or activities that took place within the last 12 hours.
Also the sensitivity of the ACG will pick up any type of emotional or physical upset that occurred from minutes to up to an hour. We will not be doing the test right away to allow for the body to relax and get comfortable in the office.
4 readings will be taken over the chest. Clothes will not be removed. The test will take approximately 20-25 minutes.
