If you are feeling stiff, tense, or tight, allow yin yoga to unravel you…

Yin Yoga is a gentle, slow-paced  and relaxing all-level class that works deeply into the connective tissues and joints of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine using body weight and gravity to increase flexibility and deepen meditation. The essence of Yin is surrender.

Poses are typically held from 3-7 minutes each. This quietly intense practice helps to increase flexibility and range of motion. It also restores energy and calms the nervous system. After a yin yoga practice, one can expect an overall sense of spaciousness, relaxation, and well-being. This deeply meditative class is a beautiful challenge for the body and mind, and the perfect complement to any active yoga practices or exercise. Modifications will be offered to suit your needs.
